E-Tran Validation Issues Resolved

The E-Tran validation issues affecting some 7(a) origination submissions have been resolved.

We observed unexpected validation behavior related to certain 1919-related questions, which resulted in submission failures in some origination scenarios. SBA CAFS Support has confirmed that the 1919-related validation errors have been updated to warnings. SBA CAFS Support has not provided a timeline for any potential future changes related to the 1919 questions, and we will continue to monitor communications from SBA and E-Tran.

E-Tran origination submissions are currently processing as expected. Lenders who were previously impacted may retry their submissions. If you continue to experience E-Tran validation behavior that appears inconsistent, please contact SPARK Support so we can investigate.
