SPARK 8.2.3 Release Notes
The SPARK 8.2.3 release is planned for Saturday, November 1st. This update includes improvements to Tasks and Information Request creation. The maintenance window will occur from 11:00 PM CT on Saturday, November 1st through 9:00 AM CT on Sunday, November 2nd.
What's Changed
Updates to Tasks
We’ve added new functionality to make working with Tasks in SPARK faster and easier.
A daily email digest summarizes upcoming Tasks due soon. Internal users are opted in by default to be notified of Tasks coming due within the next 3 calendar days. Your email notification preferences can be managed via 'My Profile & Settings.'
Quickly switch between new views like "View by Owner," "View by Assigned To," and "View by Business/Individual." We have also added new filters to highlight Tasks with or without documents or those assigned to or owned by you.
See the verification status of documents at a glance and mark documents as verified directly from the Task panel.
Update Task status directly from the Task list without opening the Task panel first.
Edit Task due dates, owners, and assignees right from the Task panel, without opening an additional edit panel.
Lastly, SPARK now remembers your Task list view and filters across packages.
Information Request Workflow Updates
We have made some improvements when it comes to assigning and managing external users assigned to Information Requests.
View each Applicant Portal and Referral Partner User’s account status and access level before assignment.
Warnings will appear if a user needs to be invited to SPARK or their access level needs to be updated. Invite, activate, or update user permissions while setting up the Information Request.
Associate Credit Summary Templates to Relevant Products
SPARK now filters available credit summary templates based on the associated products, ensuring users only see templates relevant to the package they’re working in. To update associated products for your credit summary templates, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
AI Response Rating
We’ve added helpful tooltips when rating AI responses in the SBA Knowledge Assistant, SPARK Knowledge Assistant, and Narrative Assistant.

What's Been Fixed
Financial Analysis Snippets: Resolved an issue preventing financial analysis snippets from displaying correctly. This was resolved in a hotfix.
Lumos PRIME+ Scores: Updated the integration to accommodate recent Lumos API changes that impacted retrieval of PRIME+ business reports. This was resolved in a hotfix.
Connect2Capital Integration: Adjusted our integration to align with recent API changes introduced by Connect2Capital. This was resolved in a hotfix.
Collateral Management - Select All / Deselect All: Fixed an issue where the Select All / Deselect All checkbox did not function as expected. This was resolved in a hotfix.
Deposit Tracking - Shared Placeholders: Resolved an issue where deposit evidence was not being created as a shared placeholder for companion packages. This was resolved in a hotfix.
Dashboard Performance for High Task Volume Users: Improved dashboard load performance for users with thousands of open tasks. This was resolved in a hotfix.
Personal Cash Flow - Custom Sub Accounts: Fixed an issue preventing users from adding custom sub accounts in Personal Cash Flow. This was resolved in a hotfix.
Pro Forma Balance Sheets - Debit and Credit Overrides: Resolved an issue preventing users from overriding both debits and credits on SPARK-calculated sub accounts.
Dashboard Package Lists - “View More” Button: Fixed a visual issue where the “View More” button did not correctly display the page size.
Task Attachments - Incorrect Upload Options: Resolved an issue where all tasks appeared to support document uploads even when the task type was not configured to allow attachments.
